Discover the secret to building a highly profitable YouTube channel using AI tools. Learn how to create viral videos, boost viewer retention, and maximize your revenue through affiliate marketing - even without appearing on camera.

The Importance of Retention for YouTube Success

Retention is a crucial factor for achieving YouTube success with faceless channels. It reflects how long your viewers watch your video. If viewers start watching but immediately leave, you'll get a low retention rate, and vice versa.

YouTube's algorithm prioritizes keeping viewers on the platform for as long as possible. By maintaining a high retention rate, your video is more likely to go viral. For example, a video with a 40% retention rate performed significantly better than a video with only 10% retention, despite the latter having better quality.

To improve retention, your video should have a clear beginning, ending, and a compelling storyline in between that connects them. This narrative structure keeps viewers engaged and interested until the end, similar to how movies captivate their audience.

You can use AI tools like DeepSeek to generate a human-like storyline that is proven to increase viewer retention. By crafting an engaging narrative, you can maximize the time viewers spend watching your faceless YouTube videos, which is key to achieving viral success.

Using AI to Create a Viral Storyline

Binky is a spirited little bunny who loves hopping through meadows, chasing butterflies, and inventing games. One day, Binky decides to embark on a grand adventure, exploring the lush green fields and discovering new wonders around every turn. As he hops along, Binky encounters a curious butterfly that leads him to a hidden clearing, where he stumbles upon a magical portal. Without hesitation, Binky hops through the portal, eager to see what lies on the other side.

Little does Binky know, this portal will transport him to a fantastical world, filled with enchanting creatures and breathtaking landscapes. As he explores this new realm, Binky faces unexpected challenges and makes new friends, learning valuable lessons about courage, friendship, and the power of imagination along the way.

Through a series of engaging and whimsical adventures, Binky's story captivates viewers, keeping them hooked until the very end. This carefully crafted narrative, generated with the help of AI tools, is designed to maximize viewer retention and increase the chances of the video going viral on YouTube.

One sunny day, Binky sets out on a new quest. He hops along the winding path, his ears perked up, ready to discover something extraordinary. Creating Visuals with AI Image Generation and Animation

The creating visuals can be divided into two steps. First, we're going to use DeepSeek to generate static images that match the content in our script. We're then going to use a new AI tool to animate them into high-quality videos.

The first thing you need to do is to create image prompts in DeepSeek. I prepared this image prompt in the step-by-step document that's going to turn each part of your script into an image prompt that we can then generate in Leonardo AI. Go pick up the prompt, paste it into DeepSeek, and hit generate. You'll then get a bunch of image prompts.

Now you're going to want to generate them one by one in an image generator. To do that, go ahead and head over to Leonardo AI and first sign up for a free account with your email address. Once you're on the homepage, go ahead and click on the big button in the middle that's going to take you to the image generator.

Depending on the style you want on your images, you need to adjust these settings. I'm going to go with their standard model Fenix 1.0 as my preset. And then you're going to want to set the style to 3D render. Finally, it's very important that you set the image dimensions to 16:9 because that's the size of a standard YouTube video.

Now all you got to do is head back over to DeepSeek and start generating the prompts one by one until you've generated all of them. You want to copy the first prompt, paste it into Leonardo, and hit generate, which will give us this result that's fitting our audience perfectly. Then you want to go ahead and repeat this exact process.

Next step: adding motion to the images. As some of you might already know, Leonardo does have a feature for this, but a lot of the times it doesn't look very realistic when there's too much going on in the image. So I went ahead and I actually found a new tool that does a much better job at animating images like this. It's called Pixverse, and it can actually create ultra-realistic animations that make Disney animators go bankrupt.

Head over to Pixverse and create an account. To animate the images, click on "create." You're going to be taken to a page that kind of looks similar to Leonardo. What you want to do here is upload the first image that you created, and then you're going to write a little prompt and you're going to explain how you want it to be animated. Now go ahead and hit "create," and Pixverse is going to turn the image into a fully animated video.

Editing the Video and Adding Sound Design

Okay, let's get started with the editing process. First, open up CapCut and create a new project. Then, click on the import button and add all of the assets, including the voice-over, visuals, and the song you created with Sunno AI.

Start by dragging the voice-over to the timeline. 11 Labs usually leaves a few pauses in the recording, so to increase the pace and make it flow better, you'll want to cut out all of these silent moments. Use the razor tool to make two cuts around the silence, then highlight and delete it. Continue this process throughout the entire video until you've removed all the pauses in the voice-over.

Now that the voice-over is ready, start adding the visuals one by one, making sure to add them in the right order so they match the voice-over. You may need to crop each visual to ensure they're synced with each other. If a visual isn't long enough to cover the entire scene, you can duplicate it and reverse the second clip to create a seamless loop.

Next, head over to the transitions tab in the top left of CapCut. Here, you'll find hundreds of transition templates that can make each cut a lot smoother. I'd recommend going with something clean and simple, like blur or fade transitions. Drag the transition you want to use down to the timeline between the first two clips, then hit "apply to all" to automatically add it between all the clips.

CapCut recently made the feature to generate captions available only to pro users. If you want to use this feature, you'll need to get a pro subscription. Go to the top left, click on captions, and CapCut will transcribe the entire voice-over and create captions. You can then spice up the captions with some animations by clicking on the templates on the right and editing the font, size, and other settings.

With the visual stuff done, it's time to focus on the sound design. First, add the song you created in Sunno AI by dragging it down below all the layers and adjusting the volume so it doesn't overpower the voice-over.

Finally, it's time to add sound effects to make the entire video feel more alive. I've collected a folder of sound effects that you can use, which you'll find in the step-by-step document. Just place the relevant sound effects throughout the video wherever you think they fit, and remember to adjust the volume to ensure they don't become too distracting.

Once you've added all the sound effects, you're ready to export the video. Make sure to set the resolution to 1080p and the FPS to 60 to render it in the highest possible quality. Then, hit the export button, and you're all set!

Monetizing Your Faceless YouTube Channel with Affiliate Marketing

Monetization is often overlooked, but if you know how to do it correctly, you can scale your channel's revenue a lot faster even if you don't have a huge following. One of the best ways to monetize your faceless YouTube channel is through affiliate marketing.

Channels like the one we created in this video have a special opportunity because they get a lot of comments from people wondering how they're creating their videos and what tools they're using. By having some basic affiliate marketing skills, you can turn these types of comments into revenue by placing affiliate links to the tools you use in the video description.

For example, if you use a tool like 11Labs for your AI voiceover, you can sign up to be an affiliate on their platform. They'll give you a unique affiliate link, and every time someone signs up through your link, you'll earn a commission.

Go around and collect affiliate links from all the tools you use, and place them in your video description. This is a great way to monetize your channel without having to create your own products or deal with fulfillment and customer support.

I've used different methods like this to scale my faceless channels to over a million dollars in revenue since 2023. If I can do it, you can do it too. Just make sure to focus on monetization and not just growing your views and subscribers.

Conclusion

Binky is a spirited little bunny who loves hopping through meadows, chasing butterflies, and inventing games. But his adventure doesn't stop there. This channel has been using the exact blueprint outlined in this video to scale their channel to over $12K a month.

However, even though they're making a good amount of money, they're still missing out on a lot of potential by not monetizing it in other ways beyond just ad revenue. The key is to see your channel as a marketing platform, with 100,000 views on a video equating to 100,000 potential customers.

The best way to maximize your revenue is through affiliate marketing - selling other people's products and earning commissions, without having to deal with the hassle of creating, fulfilling, or supporting the products yourself. By placing affiliate links to the tools used in your videos, you can turn viewer curiosity into revenue.
